The BirtBros app is for BirtBros staff to clock on and off, see their hours and book holiday. Accounts are created by your manager – there’s no public sign-up.

Common questions

I can’t sign in

Check your username (it isn’t case-sensitive) and password. After several wrong attempts sign-in is paused for 15 minutes. Forgotten your password? Your manager can reset it from the Employees page.

I forgot to clock off

Tell your manager – they can correct the time on your timesheet. You’ll see a “Missing” marker on that day until it’s fixed.

It says my location is needed

Your manager has turned on location for your account. Allow location for the app: iPhone Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › BirtBros › “While Using the App”. Location is only recorded when you clock on or off.

How is overtime worked out?

Hours over your normal day (Monday–Friday) count as overtime. Hours on weekends, bank holidays or days you’re on holiday all count as overtime.

How do I book holiday?

Holidays › pick the dates › Send request. Your manager approves or declines it and you’ll see the result on the same page. Weekends and bank holidays aren’t taken from your allowance.
